Dubbed by the artist "Color Dogs", these high spirited, expressionistic pet portraits merge clairvoyant color and deft brushwork. With winsome style, artist Sarah G. Carter manages to convey not only the likeness, but the personality of her animal subjects. The originals combine oils on heavy, water color washed paper for a contrast in texture and unexpected freshness that's as loose and irreverent as Color Dogs themselves. This color-rich, fine art reproduction print was created from a digital capturing of the original artwork and printed using UltraChrome, archival, colorfast, pigment-based UV inks in a giclee (ink-jet) process. The inks are durable and fade resistant. No framing necessary, may be hung directly on the wall. Set of Four.
