They say necessity is the mother of all invention. If that is indeed the case, then necessity is the seed that sprouted kikibOnan – a fresh line of appliquéd tees and onesies started by two sisters with wicked creative streaks and limited clothing budgets. Frustrated by their children’s stained tee shirts, sisters Jennifer Gurley and Carrie Hall decided to create appliqués to cover those wicked stains, and voila – from trashed, to treasured. They were so pleased with the results, and got so many compliments, they decided to let their creative juices flow, and kikibOnan was born.
